The SafeGuard ® LAN mirror

The mirror is the computer disk where the SafeGuard® stores the files. Any computer disk on the Local Area Network (LAN) can be chosen and designated as mirror. The mirror is organized in a folder containing the backup of every computer, each in a separate subfolder. In the mirror disk, files are saved in their original form, uncompressed. They can therefore be accessed at any time, without preparation.

In case of a defective computer, the user can immediately connect to the mirror and use the copy of his data.

The mirror is used to assure business continuity.
